Sweet, Sweet Summertime! (Comedy Works South June 13th)
Hey hey, Ben Roy Army! I just finished off a faaaantastic weekend at Laff’s Comedy Caffe (yes, it’s actually spelled that way) and now I’m just coolin’ out back in Denver with my roommate’s dog, Jackson. Say hi, Jackson! He says hi!
Anywho, June’s a little light (THANK GOD) as I’m taking some time off to roll around on the mats with men, and then spend a week with the kiddo in Los Angeles. I need the reset because the late summer and fall are bonkers; get ready. Lots of traveling for both stand up and SPELLS, so keep an eye out for the next email blast. In the meantime, check out the few June dates I have and make sure to take some time for yourself. Enjoy the summer. Maybe set a fire. The world is ours.

I’ve been reading some great books as of late. Right now I’m currently cruising through ‘THINK AGAIN’ by Adam Grant. I highly, highly recommend checking it out if you have not already. I’ve long held the belief that self doubt, not confidence, has powered me towards many of the success I’ve had in life. It seems like a strange idea but this book validated a lot of my suspicions. It’s absolutely normal to doubt yourself, all creatives do. And, in the right doses, I believe it is essential to success. Harness your insecurities. Use them as fuel for rethinking and reimagining your work. Rigidity is death. Always be malleable.

SPELLS - The Good Enough Section
We got our groove on and had a great time in Golden, Denver, and the Springs last month. We’ve got two tours coming up between now and late fall, so come on out and dance with us.

We’re also SUPER DUPER PUMPED to announce that we’re heading back to FEST in October, playing the Gainesville Florida festival for the fourth time! (And, while I can’t confirm or deny, there’s a rumor I may also be telling jokes while down there. Stay tuned for an announcement about that soon.)
